Our founder story
I'm Bernhard, co-founder of Loxovet, and I'd like to tell you our story.
It all began when I discovered the active ingredient HOCL and showed it to a veterinarian friend who cares for Lipizzaners in Vienna. The results were incredible! The vet was so impressed that he asked me, "What kind of miracle cure do you have here?" That was the moment that changed everything.
Because pets are more than just animals—they are family members. In the DACH region, 26 million people live with a pet, meaning 45% of households have at least one dog or cat. For families with children, this figure rises to 67%.
This strong bond between humans and animals brings with it new challenges: How do we keep our furry friends healthy and happy?
We, the founders of Loxovet – Bernhard, Valeria, and Lena – asked ourselves precisely this question. Our vision was clear: Why should only the noble Lipizzaner horses benefit from our innovative product? Why not all the companion animals that mean so much to us?
